Speech

Ughhhh… My school uniform is dirty again! I’m gonna get in trouble again! This is one of the reasons why students should NOT wear school uniforms, the school uniform could get dirty and they would have to wash it, increasing the water bill, but what if a family did not have a washing machine? What if they didn't have enough money to pay more for their water bill? It would be dirty, it would be embarrassing for the kid and it would be unhygienic. (Hygiene is the they invented showers and baths!)

Man, I really wanted to wear the new clothes I brought yesterday to school but I have to wear my uniform! This is also one of my reasons why kids should not wear uniforms, kids like to look good, just like some adults do. Making them wear uniforms is like saying that because you are an adult you get to wear better looking clothes. Kids like to wear different clothes too! Also, some people think school uniforms are not comfy and would have to wear them to school five days a week! Not very nice...

Mum! I got in trouble again for not having a uniform! One of the reasons why kids should not wear school uniforms is because not every parent has enough money to buy a school uniform, some families barely have enough to get themselves food and water! Not only would the parents would have to pay, but the school too! With more students coming in, the school would have to pay more, as well as the parents of the new kids!! Money doesn't grow on trees.

Man! Why does it have to rain? Now my uniform is wet! Now my mom will have to buy another uniform for tomorrow because we don’t have a dryer! Another reason why kids should not not wear school uniforms, nobody can tell if it will rain or not, so theres a pretty good chance that it will get wet, you say that you just dry it in the dryer? Not everyone has a dryer, so they would have to buy another uniform, which would cost money! I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars just

to get uniforms!

“Son! You’re going to miss the bus!” said my mom, “I can’t find my school uniform!” I said back… I missed the bus - Random Kid. My last reason why kids should not wear school uniforms, it may take a while to find their school uniform, it would take less time to chuck on some clothes, Yes, I know that some people have cars and the time getting ready dosen’t really matter, but some kids have to catch the bus to school! What if they take too much time to find their uniform and they miss the bus!

The Very Best of Friends Retell!

 Once… OK, We need to use something else! On a farm there were many animals, cattle, chickens, horses and dogs, Heaps of them, but there was another animal, a cat. All these animals lived with a man and women by the names Jessica and James. James loved the cat, (Whose name was William) Jessica tried to show the cat the she loved him, but it didn't work. The cat knew that Jessica did not love him. William helped James on the farm, and stayed on the truck then Boss the Bull came around! But one day, James died, Jessica was very sad, she was so sad she kicked William out of the house. William started trying to get back in. After a while he stopped and slept on hay bales all day, during the night he became very mean. One day while Jessie was putting leftovers into the cat’s bowl. The cat hissed at her and… scratched her. “Ouch!!” Jessie yelled “What was what for”. Jessie looked at William, William had become a wild cat, a torn ear, a bald patch of fur. He was not James’s cat anymore. Jessie left the door wide open and fixed her hand then she did three things. First of all she unbolted the flap, then see brought in the cat’s two bowls and last of all she got his basket and put it near the fire, “I’m sorry I’ve been so mean to you” Jessie apologized “Do you want to be the very best of friends?” William said no. Lost Pet

LOST PET

I woke up, the sun was shining through my tiny tinted window into my small cramped room. I got dressed in my best clothes as the sun was still shining beautifully. I exited my room and went towards the stairs with a happy feeling.

Happily I hurried downstairs to say hello to my friend. I was so happy and excited, another day with my friend! As I opened the back door I was surprised to not see him. I called his name and waited a little bit, he wasn't here.

I started scanning the area to find my friend. I looked behind trees, under rocks and even around the house. I stopped looking and I started to feel sad inside, my friend was lost and was probably stolen. I sat on my swing and tears started to dribble down my face.

An idea then sparked into my head and I happily went inside. I started writing a big “Lost Pet” on pieces of white paper and drawing a decent picture of him on the bottom. I went out on the street.

I started putting them on anything I could and asking people if they had saw him. They all said “No” and some even said “No, Sorry”, I was sad and went to sit on a rusty wooden bench. As I thought all hope was lost for my friend I started feeling down , when I felt a tug, It was my giraffe! I gave him a big hug and played with him for the rest of the day

Digestive System

The Digestive System helps us eat food, without it we wouldn't be able to eat. It goes from the top of our body down to our bottom.

The Start of The Digestive System is at our mouth. Whenever we put food in it saliva starts to break down the food, this food then goes down into the stomach using the esophagus as a pathway.

In the stomach, acid starts to break down the food into a liquid. Once that is complete, the liquid food then goes into the small intestine.

The small intestine uses bile stored in the gall bladder, Bile is made by the liver. Bile and enzymes help to break down important things that the body needs, such as proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

The rest of that goes into the large intestine which takes out the water and the salt. After all that the rest of the food is turned into what most people call it, Poop.
